A queen bee breeding hive with a large number of advantages: It is simple and consists of few components. It can be piled. It is well isolated. It offers a large space for the bees. It contains three frames. On the front there is a sliding door. When pushing the door down, the flying hole is covered, simultaneously a ventilation grating is opened on top. At the bottom there is a plastic plate, which can be pulled out when the hive is supposed to be filled with bees or when a colony lacking a queen bee will be joined with the mating colony. Made of solid expanded polystyrene. 3 frames, feeding box and cover board is included.

A larger feeding box ia also available (art. no. 274-47). With this feeding box instead, you can you use 5 frames. 170x245x150mm.
